Welcome to DecentAmerica.com — a grassroots advocacy tool for promoting decency in all facets of American life, beginning with arts, media, and entertainment; spoken and written language; and everyday human relations. The site is a grassroots project of RenewAmerica.

The goal of the site — which will be under construction for several weeks — will be to use all available nonpolitical avenues to bring back simple decency to American culture, something that's vital to preserving the foundations of Western Civilization in today's "culture war."

When completed, the site will offer a wealth of resources, information, and action items to help regular Americans influence not only those around them, but those who control the dissemination of values and ideas in our society.

DecentAmerica.com agrees wholeheartedly with the following sentiments of Samuel Adams, one of our nation's founders:

A general dissolution of principles and manners will more surely overthrow the liberties of America than the whole force of the common enemy. While the people are virtuous they cannot be subdued; but when once they lose their virtue then will be ready to surrender their liberties to the first external or internal invader.
